Yes, we did say that we officially have started our first contest!Along with all the changes that we have made, Nimrod Street is officially holding its first contest ever. Using our brand new 'Nform program, you may refer as many of your friends as you would like and the top 5 Nimrods with the most users signed up will receive a copy of Green Day's upcoming album whenever the heck they decide it will be released. No pressure Green Day! JK! We are however serious about the contest, so drop on by and be sure to 'Nform all your friends. You may find the 'Nform program here.
The official close date for the contest will be decided by the release of the upcoming Green Day album. So keep an eye out for the album release date, as it will be the day we will be buying the copies for the 5 lucky winners!

With that said, here are the official rules.
[:cmt9ki5b]1) All participants must be registered and be considered an "active member" of the Nimrod Street forums at the time the contest closes.
2) An "active member" is defined as a member with at least 50 posts on the forums not considered spam. ie. Do not spam to gain the 50 posts.
3) The winners will be the 5 "active members" to get the highest number of qualifying user sign-ups.
4) Qualifying user sign-ups are considered to be users that sign up after having received the 'Nform email from an "active member" and after having posted 5 times on the forums. Again those 5 times may not be posts considered spam. (This is to prevent current-users from 'Nforming themselves to qualify).
5) The winners will each be awarded a copy of the Upcoming Green Day album as soon as it is released. We do not have any way of receiving the album earlier then that so do not expect to receive it the day it comes out. That's when we will be able to purchase the album and send them to you.
6) The winners will be contacted the day of contest close for their mailing information as to where they want their prize sent to. DO NOT POST YOUR MAILING ADDRESS ON THE FORUMS!
7) All users competing must have a valid email address in order to be contacted should they become a winner.
8) The contest is opened to all Nimrod Street Users who can receive merchandise from the United States. We will suck up the shipping and handling except for the rare occasion that the price outweighs the price of the Album.
9) Please do not spam your friends, or worse yet, people you don't know.
10) The contest's Close Date will be the day the Upcoming Green Day Album is released. UPDATE: The official release date is now May 15th!.
11) Should the release date of the album be pushed back, please understand we have no control over this and the contest will be pushed back to coincide with the new release date. The same goes if the album is released earlier.
12) The rules of this contest may change accordingly should Nimrod Street feel that the need arises so check back here often.
