Information bits have been very few and far between for Green Day: Rock Band ever since it was announced at the Spike Video Game Awards. GameStop preliminary postings may not be the most reliable way to get release dates, but it's the first hint of a date since the game was announced. The listing, which recently went up on GameStop.com, not only says the game will be shipping on June 1st, 2010, but it also states that the game will carry an MSRP of a full retail title. What that means is that rockers hoping to pick the game up on day one will be paying the same price that they did for masterpieces like The Beatles: Rock Band and Rock Band 2.
The game, which was announced in mid-December of 2009, will be fully exportable to the main Rock Band platform, which led many to believe that the game would be sold at a price lower than $60. Many also thought that the game would be coming out in spring, rather than summer. As with all unofficial announcements, please take this information with discretion.
